They offer a diverse range of high-quality handmade gold jewellery in 22-carat and 18-carat gold. Their product portfolio includes bangles, bridal jewellery, chokers, earrings, long and short necklace sets, mangalsutras and rings, and a wide collection of combined jewellery sets in the categories of antique jewellery, semi-antique jewellery, Calcutta jewellery, temple jewellery, gheru polish and yellow/rhodium/rose gold jewellery, with the capability to create customised jewellery as per customer requirements. These pieces are suitable for all occasions like weddings, festivals and everyday wear, catering to the diverse needs of their customers across India. Their gold jewellery is hallmarked as per BIS standards as per regulatory guidelines.
In addition to standard products, the company also offers custom job work services, where clients supply bullion with specific design requirements and hire artisans, through the company’s job workers, to create the jewelry. Upon completion, the company delivers the finished pieces directly to its clients, ensuring seamless and high-quality service.
Their legacy in the handmade jewelry market spans over 3 decades. Mr. Kantilal Khimraj Jain started his handmade gold jewelry business in 1992 under his firm name Shankesh Jewellers. Later, in July 2005, the company was incorporated as H.K. Gold Private Limited, and later in August 2006, the company changed its name to Shankesh Jewellers Private Limited.
The company engaged a total of 72 job workers to manufacture its jewelry during fiscal 2026. They do not manufacture any jewelry in-house, allowing them to focus on inventory management, designing, and customization of handmade gold jewelry, and operating a diverse range of products so that their clients can showcase the best pieces to their end consumers without the hassle of inventory management, designing, and sourcing.
Of the total job workers they have engaged with over the years, 66 have signed agreements with their company, giving them access to numerous artisans.
These artisans are specialized and experienced in a variety of handmade jewelry items, having worked under them for years. They have their own designers who develop new products and designs based on the latest trends, customer lifestyles, expectations, preferences, and more, and work closely with their experienced job workers.
By fostering these relationships with experienced artisans and offering a wide product range of handmade gold jewellery, they are able to improve their service and delivery, and ensure that their jewellery meets their customers’ expectations.
This is essentially an asset-light model, where they share their expertise in jewellery design, craftsmanship, and timely delivery of their products with all their customers across India. This model allows them to control the entire value chain, from designing to supplying finished goods. Their association with experienced artisans helps them maintain strict quality control on the supply side and respond quickly to customer needs on the demand side.
